Philadelphia Convention Center

ACTFL 2024 will be held in the Philadelphia Convention Center in the heart of downtown Philadelphia.

Sessions and events will take place in various meeting rooms throughout the building and our World Languages Expo will be in Exhibit Halls CDE. Become familiar with the layout of the convention center before heading out using these floor plans.

Additional meetings and special events will be held in the Philadelphia Marriot Downtown HQ hotel which is connected to the convention center via skybridge. The address for the Philadelphia Convention Center is 1101 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107. There are many paid garages and surface lots located within blocks of the center. Getting Around Philadelphia

You will find that the city is very walkable, but there are numerous options of getting around including public transportation via the SEPTA transit system, taxis, ride sharing like Uber and Lyft, Indego bikeshare program, and the Philly PHLASH seasonal transportational loop.

Car Rentals

Budget and Avis are offering ACTFL 2024 attendees a discount code to use for car rentals.

Reminder: All rentals are subject to a driver’s license check and all drivers should be 25 or older with a major credit card in their name. Drivers between the ages of 21-24 will incur an underage fee of $27 a day. All rentals are subject to change until confirmed by location and based on availability.
