About the Program
Each Spring, ACTFL invites applications for its Summer Internship and Scholars Program. This program gives young professionals hands-on skills and opportunities to pursue their research in a supportive, enriching setting.
Interns work with ACTFL staff on special projects in various ACTFL departments, and enhance their resume while they learn valuable new skills
ACTFL’s mission is to provide vision, leadership and support for quality teaching and learning of languages. As such, the Internship and Scholars Program is designed as a pathway to the profession; its goal is to help recipients:
- Explore the field
- Develop professional & academic skills
- Accumulate experiences that will serve as the foundation for future leadership roles
