Is popular support for immersion language programs growing in your community? If so, what effective ways have you found to help the number of such programs grow to meet this demand? If not, are there ways that you have found to encourage such support? Explain what kinds of immersion programs—dual language immersion, two-way bilingual, full immersion, or other variations—are working best in your community and why. Describe the variety of programs, different starting ages, options for learners from pre-kindergarten through postsecondary levels that you have found to be most successful, and explain the strategies that have led to their implementation and provide important considerations that you feel will be helpful for those starting an immersion program.
