Centro Mundolengua

Centro MundoLengua is a Spanish school located in the historical center of Seville and is just a short walk from the Cathedral and other monuments most emblematic of the city.  Spanish courses are offered throughout the year to students from all over the world. The courses are designed for different kinds of students: high school, college, adults, teachers, and professors or future Spanish professors. The Spanish school in Seville is a part of the network of centers accredited by the Cervantes Institute.

The scholarship dates are June 25 – July 8, 2017. The winner may choose between studying in Madrid or Sevilla.

The scholarship includes:

  • Cost of the workshop along with materials
  • Private homestay with individual room
  • All meals

The scholarship winner is responsible for all travel to Spain, weekend travels, graduate credits from UC Riverside, and health insurance.

To be eligible a candidate must be:

  • Current ACTFL member (membership must be paid through March 2017 to be eligible)
  • Current high school teacher of AP Spanish or planning to teach it in the near future
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of interest and motivation for the course of study offered

The deadline to apply for this award is March 31, 2017. Applicants will be notified of a decision by the end of April 2017.
