COINED Scholarship

COINED was founded in 1971 by organizing bilateral exchanges among German and Argentinean high school students. COINED currently has Intercultural Centers in 47 cities in 14 Hispano American countries.

COINED will offer two (2) scholarships for a two-week intensive course in Santiago, Chile for use during 2017.

Scholarship includes:

  • All fees and registration costs for the course

The scholarship winners are responsible for all travel to and accommodations in Santiago, Chile. The scholarship winners are also responsible for any personal expenses and optional activities.

To be eligible a candidate must be:

  • current ACTFL member (membership must be paid through March 2017 to be eligible)
  • able to demonstrate a high level of interest and motivation for the course of study offered
  • of a sufficiently proficient level in Spanish to be able to profit from the course of study
  • willing to share the experience gained

The deadline to apply for this award is March 31, 2017. Applicants will be notified of a decision by the end of April 2017.
