Language Connects Foundation and Klett World Languages Launch Inaugural Award for Sustainable Development Education in the World Language Classroom
The Language Connects Foundation (LCF), a new not-for-profit supported by ACTFL, in partnership with Klett World Languages are thrilled to announce the launch of the inaugural LCF/Klett Award for Sustainable Development Education in the World Language Classroom.
ACTFL and its Lead with Languages campaign are pleased to announce the selection of ten 2021 awardees of the Lead with Languages Teacher Scholarship Program which provides merit-based funding to graduating high school seniors committed to pursuing the language teaching profession in languages other than English.
For a fourth consecutive year, ACTFL is celebrating Lead with Languages Advocacy Month in February 2021. As part of its greater mission to improve and expand the teaching and learning of all languages at all levels of instruction, each February, ACTFL and its Lead with Languages campaign propose initiatives and digital activities to celebrate the achievements of language advocates from around the country and bring awareness to the value of world language education in the United States.
