ACTFL Selects Daniel Ferguson as Inaugural FLA Graduate Diversity Publications Intern
ACTFL is pleased to announce the first Foreign Language Annals (FLA) Graduate Diversity Publications Intern for May 2022-April 2023, Daniel Ferguson. A former Fulbright teaching assistant, Mr. Ferguson is a language teacher with over ten years of experience teaching German and English in the US and Austria.

ACTFL Statement on School Shooting in Uvalde, TX
We are once again heartbroken by another horrific school shooting in the United States, this time in Uvalde, TX. We grieve with the entire Robb Elementary School community. In 2022 alone, there have been 27 school shootings—and this comes on the heels of a racist-driven shooting that targeted Black shoppers in a supermarket in Buffalo, NY, and an attack that was directed at Taiwanese churchgoers in Laguna Woods, CA, all in the past two weeks.
