BOSTON—The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) is pleased to announce the 2017 National Language Teacher of the Year has been awarded to Katrina Griffin, a German teacher at North County High School in Glen Burnie, MD, who represents NECTFL. The award presentation was held during the Opening General Session of the 2016 ACTFL Convention & World Languages Expo in Boston on Friday, Nov. 18.

Alexandria, VA (July 25, 2013) – The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) has announced the five finalists for the annual ACTFL National Language Teacher of the Year Award. The finalists representing the five geographic regions of the U.S. are:
