ALEXANDRIA, VA (November 16, 2018) — The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) is pleased to announce the newly elected and appointed members of the Board of Directors. We congratulate these members and look forward to seeing their dedication to the improvement and expansion of the teaching of all languages with ACTFL.  These members will begin their term on January 1, 2019.

San Antonio, TX—The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) is pleased to announce that Peter Swanson, Associate Professor of Foreign Language Education at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA, has been elected President-Elect of ACTFL for 2015.

Orlando, FL—The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) announced the election of two new at-large Board Members at its Opening General Session during the 2013 ACTFL Annual Convention & World Languages Expo, in Orlando, FL.

Aleidine (Ali) Moeller of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and Juan Carlos Morales of the Delaware Department of Education were elected by the ACTFL membership in the most recent Board Elections. Both will begin their three year terms on the ACTFL Board on January 1, 2014.

Orlando, FL – The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) announced the 2014 President-Elect of the organization during the Opening General Session of its Annual Convention & World Languages Expo, November 22, in Orlando, FL.

Jacqueline Bott Van Houten was elected by the ACTFL membership in the most recent Board Election held in October.
