Claudia Decker is the head of the World Language Department and a Spanish Teacher at Nashua High North in Nashua, NH. She also serves as a Spanish Adjunct Professor at Rivier University. Decker is the 2023 Teacher of the Year for the Northeast Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (NECTFL) and the 2023 Janis Hennesy World Language Teacher of the Year for the New Hampshire Association of World Language Teachers (NHAWLT). She holds an MAT in Spanish from Rivier University and a BA in English from Weber State University. Beyond teaching, she currently serves on the NHAWLT Board of Directors, as a Community Advisory Board member for New Hampshire PBS, and is the Advisory Board Past President for Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica, in addition to volunteering with several other organizations.
