New Options for 2025!
ACTFL has partnered with Idioma Education & Consulting to offer graduate-level credit or state-approved professional development hours to ACTFL Convention & Expo attendees.
Idioma Education & Consulting invites ACTFL Convention & Expo participants to register for approved professional development hours for Convention attendance and reflection, or graduate-level credits for attending the ACTFL Convention and the completion of the post Convention coursework with Idioma.
Two course options are available to receive either:
- 1 Graduate-Level Credit or 15 Professional Development Hours
- 3 Graduate-Level Credits or 45 Professional Development Hours
Professional Development Units (PDU)
Attendees at the Convention will be able to pick up PDU forms at Registration to fill out with the sessions you attended during the Convention. You can attach a copy of your Convention badge to serve as proof of attendance when submitting it to the school district. ACTFL cannot guarantee that teachers will receive professional development points or continuing education credits for participation in the Convention through the standard PDU form. It is each participant’s responsibility to check with the state, district, or local authority in advance.
The new option through Idioma will allow enrolled educators to receive PDU with an approved certificate upon completing the course requirements.
