Expanish Scholarship

Expanish is an award-winning Spanish language institute in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Barcelona, Spain. Founded in 2006, the school has helped over 13,000 students from all over the world to study, intern and volunteer in the region.

The scholarship consists of a two-week program in Buenos Aires, Argentina or Barcelona, Spain. Start date can be any Monday in 2020 and the recipient can choose between either Buenos Aires or Barcelona.

Scholarship includes:

  • All fees and registration costs for the course (20 hours of group lessons per week)
  • Cultural activities

The scholarship winners are responsible for all travel to and accommodations in Buenos Aires and Barcelona. The scholarship winners are also responsible for any personal expenses, meals, and optional activities.

To be eligible an applicant must be:

  • Current ACTFL member (membership must be paid through March 2020 to be eligible)
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of interest and motivation for the course of study offered
  • Applicants should show a need to improve their Spanish language skills

ACTFL has the right to provide your name and contact information to the scholarship provider.

The deadline to apply for this award is February 28, 2020. Applicants will be notified of a decision by the end of March 2020.
