Language Educators are Advocates
ACTFL works with our members and partners to generate public education about the robust benefits of multilingualism, ensuring that those outside the profession understand the importance of language education and educators have the resources they need to leverage in support of local programs and the direction of U.S. language education at the state and federal levels.
Some of our goals include: sustaining existing language education programs, expanding instruction to include more languages at all levels, and introducing world language instruction to students earlier in their PreK-12 experience.
Now, more than ever, advocacy in support of language education is critical. Explore State Advocacy Goals for even more ways you can get involved.
