Learning Chinese Online is a site created and updated by Dr. Tianwei Xie with the Department of Asian and Asian American Studies at California State University at Long Beach. It features information on pronunciation, conversation, grammar, reading, characters, translation, and testing. There are also learning materials and tools for teachers.

Fairy Tales in German

Among the stories are “Cinderella,” “The Bremen Town Musicians,” “Tom Thumb,” “Sleeping Beauty,” and “Hansel and Gretel.” The site also features a selection of illustrations from 19th century editions and a discussion forum related to the Grimm Brothers’ stories.
