This hands-on workshop familiarizes participants with using 21st century technologies for a variety of collaborative purposes. Emerging technologies for such activities as student collaborative projects, cross-cultural exchanges, and peer editing/review will be examined. Participants will have the opportunity to enrich their language content by connecting their students: for collaborations that can be school-based, reach out to the community, connect with experts, or even overseas partners. Discussion also will focus on building collaborations between language educators for professional development opportunities and growing your own personal learning network (PLN).
