A-6: Prochievement Testing Workshop (1 day)
The fusion of proficiency and achievement testing, “prochievement” testing is a more holistic way of assessing how well specific learned tasks are performed than the customary discrete-item test. Participants will learn how to tailor the OPI to a prochievement format, design authentic writing tasks for a prochievement test, and explore procedures for testing listening and reading using authentic materials.
