Language Coalition Sends Letter to President Obama Regarding FY14 Priorities

September 14, 2012, Alexandria, VA - A coalition of more than 50 language organizations recently sent a letter to President Obama outlining language priorities for the FY14 budget.
The letter urges the President "to address the need for all American students, from primary through graduate school, to gain proficiency in a second language and prioritize the following programs in your Fiscal Year 2014 budget." It makes specific funding requests for program like Language Flagships, STARTALK, and Title VI.
