National Language Teacher of the Year Winner Is Salinas, CA, Japanese Educator - 11/18/2011

Yo Azama, a Japanese teacher at North Salinas High School in Salinas, CA, was named the 2012 National Language Teacher of the Year by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) at the organization’s annual convention held in Denver, CO.

Missouri Educator Named 2010 National Language Teacher of the Year - 12/08/2009

Lisa Lilley, a Spanish teacher at Central High School in Springfield, MO, has been selected as the 2010 National Language Teacher of the Year by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL).  The award was presented at the association’s 43rd Annual Convention and World Languages Expo in San Diego, CA on November 20, 2009.
