COINED, an intercultural organization promoting Spanish-based courses, volunteer and internship programs throughout Latin America, will provide two scholarships for two different ACTFL Spanish teachers for two weeks of Spanish language course each, to be taken during 2013 in Santiago de Chile, Chile!

Each award, valued at USD 410, will cover the following items:

• Spanish Placement Test
• Spanish Intensive Course (20 hrs/week)
• Course Material
• Welcome Package
• Weekly Tours and Recreational Activities Calendar
• Course Certificate
• 24/7 Emergency Phone
• COINED Tutorship
• Internet Access

To be elegible, a candidate must:

• Be a current ACTFL member
• Be an American citizen
• Be interested in the teaching of Spanish as a second language, with a focus in Latin America
• Demonstrate a high level of commitment and interest for the program
• Book accommodation offered by COINED, including the cost of the registration fee
• Travel during 2013, except during the months of January and July

The winners are responsible for all travel-related costs to Santiago de Chile and the school, as well as personal expenses, accommodation via COINED, registration fee (USD75) and any additional activities or study-extensions in Santiago de Chile.
